Thank you, everyone, for your support.
It is how she lived that made her a hero...
Police Officer Jennifer L. Sebena began her law enforcement career when she volunteered with the New Berlin Police Department in June, 2008. She stayed there until being hired by the Wauwatosa Police Department in January, 2011. Jennifer was well known around the department for her infectious smile and upbeat attitude. Although she became a sworn officer in 2011, she assumed the role of “protector” at an early age when she insisted on sleeping under the crib the first day her baby brother was brought home from the hospital.
Jennifer served the citizens of Wauwatosa with pride and integrity. She was very well-liked and respected by her peers, and showed great potential early on. Outside of her job, Jennifer also served by volunteering for the Hunger Task Force and giving countless hours guiding and mentoring many youth at Elmbrook Church in Brookfield, WI. Jennifer was also known for her commitment to healthy eating and enjoyed cooking wholesome, nutritious dishes. Jennifer’s self-proclaimed life plan was “to ease the suffering of others.”
